Multiple Ministries, One Mission

Trinity Jubilee Center, Lewiston
Trinity Jubilee Center in downtown Lewiston serves the hungry, the homeless, and others in need, helping its neighbors get through difficult times and onto the road to self-sufficiency.
Six programs run five days a week. The Soup Kitchen serves nearly 800 meals per day. The Food Pantry serves 350 households. The Day Shelter provides warmth, safety, and rest. The Resource Center offers services to help guests get back on their feet, including clothing, holiday assistance, helping immigrants with green card applications and family unification, and more. The Free Clinic provides medical attention to those without insurance, and Employment Navigation Services offers one-on-one assistance with writing a resume, searching for job openings, and completing applications.
After 35 years in the Trinity Church basement, on Feb. 3, 2026 Trinity Jubilee Center opened the doors of its new home at 123 Bates St. With nearly four times the space as the original location, the new building has shower and laundry facilities, room for expanded health services, a larger kitchen, and more work stations for employment assistance. Bridging the Gap, Augusta
Bridging the Gap is a community initiative of Emmanuel Lutheran Episcopal Church and a partner program of the United Way of Kennebec Valley and is comprised of three programs that collectively help people become the healthiest version of themselves by connecting them to basic needs and community resources and by providing opportunities for meaningful volunteerism and social connection.
Their three programs are:
- Addie’s Attic Clothing Bank
- Basic Essentials Hygiene Pantry
- Resource Connection, Outreach and Centralized Helping Fund

St. Elizabeth’s Essentials Pantry, Portland
The outreach effort of St. Elizabeth’s Jubilee Center is supported by Portland area Episcopal Churches as well as the diocese. They distribute non-food essentials like toilet paper, bar soap, and housewares every Tuesday morning. They also distribute adult winter coats and boots seasonally. They see hundreds of clients each week.

Seeds of Hope Neighborhood Center, Biddeford
The Seeds of Hope Neighborhood Center offers hospitality and support to all those who pass through their doors. They strive to offer hope to those who are struggling, care for those in need, advocacy to those who have been silenced, companionship for those who are alone, and compassionate love for all.
