Convention adopted the resolution below (and here) regarding the investment of diocesan funds which asks the bishop to form a special commission to discuss the resolution, the ‘call to action’ attached to the resolution, and the Private and Special Law under which the Trustees of Diocesan Funds exist, and to report to the 205th Diocesan Convention.

- Carlos Mello, Trustee of Diocesan Funds, St. Thomas’ Camden CO-CHAIR
- Liz Parsons, Cathedral Church of St. Luke, Portland
- Tom Van Buren, St. Brendan the Navigator, Deer Isle, member of the Racial Justice Committee
- Stephen Ward, St. Andrew’s, Newcastle, member of the Committee on Indian Relations and Creation Care Team
- Nancy Whitehouse, St. Paul’s, Brunswick
At the conclusion of the year, the SCSDI submitted proposed a resolution to the 2024 convention to have a body named by the bishop to continue the work of considering diocesan investments and faith-based investing which was adopted.
The new body assembled in 2025 and continuing to work into 2026 was made up of:
- The Rev. Timothy Boggs (retired priest, member of the Trustees of Diocesan Funds)
- Randi Hogan (Treasurer of St. Luke’s Cathedral, Portland and original member of SCSDI)
- Theodore G. Fletcher (Officer, Diocesan Council)
They have met several times to discuss how to continue and focuses on exploring ways to offer education to the members of the diocese and churches about how to consider faith-based investing and ways to put your faith at the center of investment decisions.
