Convention adopted the resolution below (and here) regarding the investment of diocesan funds which asks the bishop to form a special commission to discuss the resolution, the ‘call to action’ attached to the resolution, and the Private and Special Law under which the Trustees of Diocesan Funds exist, and to report to the 205th Diocesan Convention in 2024 its conclusions and recommendations, including any appropriate resolutions for consideration.

- Stephen Ward, St. Andrew’s, Newcastle, member of the Committee on Indian Relations and Creation Care Team

At the conclusion of the year, the SCSDI submitted proposed a resolution to the 2024 convention to have a body named by the bishop continue the work of considering diocesan investments which was adopted.
The new body assembled in 2025 and continuing to work into 2026 is:
- The Rev. Timothy Boggs (retired priest, member of the Trustees of Diocesan Funds)
- Randi Hogan (Treasurer of St. Luke’s Cathedral, Portland and original member of SCSDI)
- Theodore G. Fletcher (Officer, Diocesan Council)
They are working on a plan offer education to the members of the diocese and churches about how to consider faith-based investing and ways to put your faith at the center of investment decisions through a webinar offered this coming year. More details to come.
