This Eucharistic Prayer, written and copyrighted by the Rev. Martin L. Smith, who spends time at All Saints Church on Southport Island every summer, made its debut at Chrism Eucharist on April 8, 2025. The Rev. Victoria R. Sirota, member of Maine’s Diocesan Liturgical Commission, has composed a text setting for the prayer.
Our congregations are welcome to use it judiciously on Sunday mornings; please acknowledge both that it’s authorized in the Diocese of Maine as well as the copyright.
It would be helpful to practice ahead of time this new text with the congregational responses.
