Greg Payne from Governor Janet Mills’ office and Michelle Lamm from Greater Portland Family Promise recently met with the Cathedral of St. Luke’s Public Policy and Environmental Action Team for a conversation about affordable housing and homelessness.
John Hennessy, Director of Public Advocacy for the diocese, notes that there are a few faith-based advocacy opportunities addressing homelessness in the supplemental budget that we will want to consider (as well as some to oppose).
