Christian Ed Collaboration of Maine Meetings:  Thursdays 6:30-730pm

Join us to discuss your programs and challenges. Here are the dates for the next Maine Formation conversation meetings - all taking place on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30pm. Our foci are on rotation: First week of the month: in-person formation/ Second week of the month: online formation/ Third week of the month: at home formation/ Fourth week of the month: supporting one another and caring for our spirits. All are welcome to attend! Please contact Emily Keniston for the Zoom link to attend. Also reach out to Emily if you are looking for support or connections in this work or have any questions about youth formation by email or cell 207-210-7500.

Here's some other ways to be connected with people in other Maine Episcopal churches who do ministry with kids and teens:

1. Email your questions about and get support for Christian Formation to Emily Keniston, Diocesan Consultant for Christian Formation or call (207) 210-7500. Do you want to visit another church's Sunday School?  Or visit other leaders?

2. Join the Christian Ed Collaboration. Start by joining the Christian Ed Collaboration Facebook Group.  This is one of the ways that people connect. The Christian Ed Collaboration is a network of people (laypeople and clergy, volunteers and employees) from Episcopal congregations all over Maine, who are dedicated to sharing resources and ideas.  We support and help one another. During 2020, the group has been meeting on Thursday evenings over Zoom to discuss planning for the program year. Email Emily for the link to join this meeting!

2. Subscribe to the Dio Log (our diocesan newsletter).  That's where to find notices of Christian Ed Collaboration meetings, Maine Episcopal Youth Events, continuing education opportunities, etc.

3. One of the best ways to connect with Episcopal Christian Ed leaders from all over the country and beyond is to join the FORMA facebook group or attend the upcoming conference Forma21: Embodying Spiritual Practices Conference online in January 2021. If you are interested, please reach out to Emily Keniston. We are purchasing an institutional ticket package for the conference and would love for you to join us! To read more about the speakers and the schedule for Forma21, please click here
