The Speaker has shared with us that a large showing of support at the State House is vital to making sure this bill gets through the committee with the same success as the rest of our legislative package. So whether you plan to testify in person, submit written testimony, or just come to the Hearing while wearing something orange, every supporter that shows up counts!
If you can’t come to the State House, you can still make sure that your voice is heard to help get this bill passed by:
1. Testifying by Zoom (this requires immense patience, as you’ll go last)
2. Submitting written testimony online
And if you can come to the State House but don’t want to testify in person, please do! You can hold signs, wear something orange in support of our movement and bills, and possibly speak to legislators to gauge their support for our legislation. |
