Jason Briggs, parishioner at Trinity Episcopal Church in Saco, works with Aroostook County farmers to get Maine potatoes to those in need throughout the state.
To raise funds for the endeavor, he invites everyone to Potato Palooza at DiMillos in Portland on Sat., Oct. 26 from 6-9 p.m.
Feast on a Maine potatoes prepared in a variety of ways along with an assortment of chowder. Enjoy live music and an auction.
The event is sponsored by the Maine Farmers Exchange, VIP Bus and Charter, Maine Day Ventures, Guerrette Farms, Conway Scenic Railroad, Johnson and Company CPAs, Dirigo Bus Lines, and the Episcopal Diocese of Maine.
