Portland Pride 2026

Please join us as we walk in the 2026 Portland Pride Parade! All are welcome! You are invited to make signs about God’s love for all people, to wear rainbow clothing, and to walk in celebration of the glorious spectrum of humanity God has made. If you’d like to do that in community, you are invited to join Episcopal Maine youth at the Diocesan Office at Loring House (next to the Cathedral Church of St. Luke) from 9:30-11:00 for snacks, poster-making and fun.

We don’t yet have information about a meeting place for parade participants (parade organizers will announce that a week or so before the parade). For now, we know that we will meet at 11:30 somewhere near the Portland Public Library and the parade will end at Deering Oaks Park. There is a festival at Deering Oaks that folks can explore on their own after our official diocesan event has concluded.

If you have a youth who would like to participate but doesn’t have an adult to walk in the parade with them, please be in touch with Director of Faith Formation, the Rev. Emily Keniston. A note about young children: everyone is welcome to join in the fun, but you may want to be ready to carry younger kids as the parade is over a mile.
