Please join us as we walk in the 2026 Portland Pride Parade! All are welcome! You are invited to make signs about God’s love for all people, to wear rainbow clothing, and to walk in celebration of the glorious spectrum of humanity God has made.
9:30-10:45 a.m. Optional poster-making and social time at the Lower Hall at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke on State Street. This is a change from our original plan to be at Loring House. The Lower Hall has become available and it’s a much better spot for our gathering. It can be reached directly from the cathedral parking lot. There will be coffee and donuts! We’ll have a few Episcopal Maine pride t shirts on-hand for a suggested donation of $20 if anyone is interested. Wearing anything (everything!) rainbow you own is also appropriate.

11 a.m. Gather as a group in Zone E: Line up on Brown Street between Congress Street and Cumberland Avenue, facing Congress Street.Look for someone holding an Episcopal Maine flag.
11:30 a.m. Parade begins! We walk for about a mile so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and if you carry a bag, be sure you can manage it for that distance. Parents and caregivers- be sure to keep a careful eye on children as we walk.
When we reach Deering Oaks, the Episcopal Maine aspect of the event concludes. Some folks will choose to stay to enjoy the festival and others will depart directly. The choice is yours!
