Poll chaplains and peacekeepers are faith leaders and members of the laity who bring a calming, non-partisan presence to polling locations that are particularly at-risk of being targeted for voter intimidation. Multi-Faith Justice Maine is organizing a poll chaplaincy program that will run across the state on election day.
