Commissioned and authorized by The Rt. Rev. Thomas Brown, the Tenth Bishop of Maine, the Rev. Martin Smith wrote and copyrighted the Eucharistic Prayer for Maine now being used in Episcopal churches and summer chapels across the state. All are invited to join the weekly porch discussion at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at All Saints by-the Sea on Southport Island when Rev. Smith will share his personal reflections on writing this beautiful new prayer. Golf carts from the handicap parking lot will begin running at 8:30 a.m.
