Back by popular demand, the first day of Summer Finale will be an opportunity for lay preachers to be together in conversation about what’s working in our contexts, and to ask questions of others in the field. Perhaps one or two among us would be willing to share a mini-sermon, too! This event is open to anyone who has completed the Backstory Preaching class or those who plan to begin it in January.
RSVP for this event is separate from the Summer Finale registration, so please complete both forms if you also plan to stay for Summer Finale (the weekend of fun at Camp Bishopswood).
Lay preaching begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m., when the rest of the Summer Finale folks will join us at camp and we switch gears to fun in community time. Lunch is provided for all participants of the lay preaching retreat.
