Jazz at St. Peter’s in Cape Neddick

The annual JAZZ AT ST PETER’S concert will be held this year on August 27 at 4:00 pm on the church rectory lawn along the picturesque Atlantic Ocean at 6 Fairbourne Lane in Cape Neddick. St. Peter’s by the Sea is adjacent at 535 Shore Road and has parking. The annual event raises funds solely for its Preservation Fund of this historic Episcopal church, built in 1897. It is on the national historic register. Two services are held each Sunday with a full music and choir program at 8 am and 10 am from June till October.

Again this year, the 18 piece jazz band NEW LEGACY SWING BAND will perform. They have been performing in the New England area for over 25 years. A wide, diverse collection of both songs and tunes from the “Big Band era are performed. In past summers, Jazz at St. Peter’s has sold its 300 tickets.
