This solidarity rally, organized by Safiya Khalid, is a strong and public display of support for our immigrant neighbors as we respond to ICE activity in Lewiston and Portland.

Note to clergy: Right now our public expression of solidarity is critical and we are asking clergy and faith leaders from around the state to attend. There will be a moment in the rally when faith leaders are invited to the front of the gathering. While there is time for one faith-based speaker, our primary message will be visual—a mass of us standing together shoulder to shoulder in unwavering support. We know some of you are traveling to MN this weekend and some of you will be with your own faith communities at 12 p.m. If you fill out this form and note that you will not attend in person, we will publicly count you among the number of those standing in solidarity from afar.

Please be prepared to protest peacefully! See the Protesting Faithfully Toolkit  and find more tips and resources here.
