Frances Perkins’ life of good work – work that shaped our country and helped so many – has been an inspiration to generations and an icon for how baptized persons live out their ministry in the world.
In recognition of the sum total of her good works and enduring faith, in 2009 the Episcopal Church designated Frances a Holy Woman. She is celebrated in The Episcopal Church liturgical calendar each year on May 13.
All communities are invited to join in marking Frances Perkins’ work and enduring legacy.
