On Veterans Day, St. John’s Episcopal Church in Bangor will present “Fifty Years After the Vietnam War: Program of Remembrance and Reflection.” The program will include poems by Michael Casey, Yusef Komunyakaa, Bobbi Trotter, and others, read by Nancy Dymond, Dillon Murray, Jerry Lyden, and Jeff Sychterz; reflections by Tom Bennett, Nancy Dymond, Rabbi Bill Siemers, and the Rev. Jarrett Kerbel; and music by Sergei Rachmaninoff and Carson Cooman, played by Marisa Solomon, Patricia Stowell, and Jack Burt. A reception will follow. The program will be livestreamed on St. John’s YouTube page for those who cannot attend in person. For more information, please email the church office.
