Episcopal Diocese of Maine’s Annual Chrism Eucharist with Renewal of Vows and Blessing of Holy Chrism
Tuesday, March 24, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Emmanuel Lutheran Episcopal Church, Augusta
The day will include a renewal of ordination vows for clergy and baptismal promises for laity and the blessing and distribution of holy chrism.

About Dr. Kwok Pui-lan
Kwok Pui-lan is a Distinguished Scholar at Episcopal Divinity School and a past president of the American Academy of Religion. She has authored and edited numerous books on Asian and Asian American feminist theology, biblical interpretation, and postcolonial criticism. She is the author of The Anglican Tradition from a Postcolonial Perspective and coeditor of Living Postcolonial Anglicanism and Anglican Women on Church and Mission. She received the Lanfranc Award for Education and Scholarship from the Archbishop of Canterbury in 2021.
