The Priest-in-Charge, Rector, or Vicar of each congregation or mission in the Episcopal Diocese of Maine must complete this electronic 2023 Certificate of ASA and Lay Delegates by September 15, 2023. If your church doesn’t have a Priest-in-Charge, Rector, or Vicar, then a Warden or Clerk of the Vestry or Bishop’s Committee should complete the form.
- The certificate will be based on your ASA from the 2019 Parochial Report. Look up your church’s ASA on the 2019 Vital Statistics report here.
- Once you enter the ASA range, the number of spaces you will see on the form will expand as necessary.
- Please provide a unique email address for each person listed. All communication is done electronically and delegates will begin receiving our weekly Clergy & Lay Leaders Newsletter containing important pre-convention information soon. Be sure that the email addresses listed are correct!
- Once the certificate has been submitted, your congregation’s name will no longer be available as a choice in the dropdown menu.
- After submission, you will receive a copy of the form via email. Please keep this copy for your records.
- The form certifies delegations. It doesn’t take the place of the registration requests for the Convocation on October 21 at the Cathedral of St. Luke in Portland and the online Annual Convention Business Meeting on November 11 that each delegate will be required to complete once they become available.
