On Saturday, October 26th at 3:00pm, at the 200th Convention of the Diocese and Bicentennial Celebration Kick-off, the newly consecrated bishop, the Rt. Rev. Thomas James Brown, will be formally welcomed at the Cathedral of Saint Luke in Portland and seated in the cathedra, or bishop’s chair, that is symbolic of the bishop’s office.
